ZontaHuxter is a London residential architecture and design-build studio specialising in the transformation of exceptional private homes. From bespoke extensions and considered spatial reconfigurations to the restoration of listed buildings, we create residences defined by architectural integrity, refined interiors and enduring character.
Bringing architecture, planning and heritage consent, interior design, bespoke joinery and construction together under one roof, we ensure every element is conceived as part of a cohesive vision. Our designs are developed alongside the craftspeople and teams responsible for their realisation, maintaining continuity from the initial concept to the finest finishing details.
House redesign and extensions
Our architectural work includes full-house transformations, rear and side extensions, loft conversions and the considered reordering of rooms, so that light, circulation and storage belong to the whole. We open and connect interiors where the house allows it, and we design the structural reinforcement that makes those openings possible — new steels, strengthened floors, and the quiet work that holds an open plan without disturbing the character of the building. Each intervention is drawn for the fabric of the existing house, not applied as a generic addition.
Listed buildings
Where the house is listed, we prepare the heritage consent drawings, coordinate the application, and remain with the project through construction. The detail that is approved is the detail that is built, so the restoration holds its integrity from drawing to site.
